So anyway, let’s get into today’s subject “Beavis and Butthead: The Halloween Special”.Īlso known as “Bunghole: Lord of the Harvest”, or “Butt-O-Ween”, this episode first aired on MTV on October 31st, 1995, only a single year before the release of “Beavis and Butthead Do America” (1996). But sadly that didn’t really do much for the series in the long run. And throughout the decade the series has ran for a great number of episodes plus spawning a single film, and a short-lived reboot as recently as 2011. Yeah, I can't believe its been that long now given how well I remember it. Because I used to watch the show back in the early 90s until it ended in November of 1997. But before I engage in today’s subject, let me just say that while I’m not too crazy about Beavis and Butthead in general, the series has nevertheless become part of my history. So I figured, why not revisit the franchise yet again? Well, that’s what I’m about to do right now. And it’s not everyday that I review Beavis and Butthead related material (unless you count “Beavis and Butthead Do America” which I reviewed earlier). But since I’m still in sort of a Halloween-ish sort of mood, I figured I’d review something I remember from the old days. I’m MDTartist83, once again giving you another retro TV review.
